Yero Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 October 2026
Yero helps Instagram creators send automatic direct messages (DMs) to people who comment on their posts. This page explains what data we collect, why, and how you can delete it.
What we collect
- Your Instagram professional account: account ID, username, follower count and profile photo, and an access token from Meta so Yero can send messages for you. The token is encrypted.
- Your Facebook Page (only if you sign in with Facebook): Page ID and a Page access token, encrypted.
- Your automations: keywords, messages and links you set up.
- Comments that trigger your automations: the commenter's Instagram-scoped ID, username, comment text, and whether the DM was sent.
- Link clicks: a count of clicks on links sent through Yero, with a one-way hash of the browser type. No IP addresses are stored.
- Optional: your WhatsApp number (only if you add it, for support) and your Google email (only if you add Google as a backup login).
How we use it
Only to run Yero: to send the DMs and replies you set up, to show you your activity, to keep your account safe, and to help you when you contact support. We do not sell your data, and we do not send messages to people who have not interacted with you.
Where it is stored
On Google Cloud in Mumbai, India (asia-south1).
Deleting your data
- In the app: Settings → Delete account. Everything is deleted right away (within 30 days at most).
- If you remove Yero from your Instagram or Facebook settings, Meta tells us and we delete your data.
